Instructions

  1. Cut the apple into very thin wedges and the banana into thin slices. Bring the fruit to the boil with a little water and steam for a few minutes, so much liquid should form that the fruit is well covered with the liquid. Add the oatmeal and a pinch of salt and simmer for 15 minutes on a low heat.
  2. To serve, fill the porridge into two serving bowls, stir in 1 cup of yoghurt and sprinkle 1 handful of nuts over each.
