Instructions

  1. Prepare the jelly according to the instructions on the packet and let it cool (ideally place in the freezer for 30-45 minutes).
  2. Separate the eggs, stir together the yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Mix the flour, starch and baking powder and add 5 tablespoons of lukewarm water to the batter. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold in carefully.
  3. Pour the dough into a springform pan and bake at 180 ° C (gas mark 2) for about 15 minutes. Overturn the biscuit, cut in half lengthways and allow to cool.
  4. Mix the cream cheese and low-fat quark together. Fold in the jelly, add sweetener to taste and spread the cream on one half of the biscuit. Cover with the other half of the biscuit and refrigerate for approx. 3 hours.
  5. Finally, you can dust it with powdered sugar as you like.
