Tie the woodruff bundles together with twine, let them wither slightly and put them in a suitable container with the white wine. Clean or peel the fruit, cut into whole or half slices and then add them. Let it steep for about 1-2 hours. Then remove the woodruff - the fruit can still steep longer. Refrigerate.
Before serving, top up with chilled sparkling wine and add lemonade if you like - this usually saves you from having to sweeten it with sugar.
Tip: The fruit can of course be varied. I don`t always use strawberries, lemons, and kiwis. But at least the lemons should go in.
