Instructions

  1. Cut off the crust or edges from the 3 bread slices. Now pluck the protein bread into small pieces with your hands and place in a bowl. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and water and knead the ingredients into a ball of dough by hand. Shape the bread mass in your hand into a flat slice and put half a teaspoon of jam in the middle. Carefully shape a ball around the filling. If holes appear, cover them with more bread.
  2. You get 3 balls from the given quantity. After filling and shaping, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush them with milk and bake them in the oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes. Let cool down briefly, dust with powdered sugar and consume immediately.
  3. Egg white bread is relatively sticky, but since it is not a normal dough, shaping it requires patience!
  4. Tip: If the dough is too soft, mix in the ground almonds. If it`s too dry, adding small amounts of water will make it smoother.
