Wash the chicory, remove the stalk and cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Wash and core the apple and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the grapefruit, peel the skin off the individual fillets and cut the flesh into pieces.
Put the cut ingredients in a bowl and mix with the vinegar, oil, pomegranate seeds and nuts. Finally, season the salad with salt and pepper. Use the salt sparingly as the nuts are already salted!
