• 1 lemon (s), untreated
• 750 g water
• 4 bags tea, black
• 85 grams sugar
• 125 ml rum
• 50 ml brandy
• 75 ml peach liqueur (peach brandy)
• ice cubes
• soda water
• possibly peach juice, optional

Instructions

1. Wash the lemon well. Cut the lemon with the peel into cubes. Heat the water and pour the hot water over the tea and lemon cubes in a pot. Let it steep for 10 minutes.
2. Then remove the tea bags and lemons and put the liquid in a saucepan. Add the sugar, rum, brandy and peach brandy. Heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Then pour into a vessel or a carafe and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
3. Pour a little soda water into a glass, add ice cubes as you like and top up with the tea cocktail. The amount according to the recipe makes about 1 liter of tea cocktail.
4. The cocktail also works great as an alcohol-free version. Simply replace the alcohol with peach juice. Since the juice has a certain sweetness, you can safely leave out a little sugar. But that should be a matter of taste, I don`t like it very sweet.
