Instructions

  1. Peel the cucumber, cut off both ends beforehand. Finely slice the cucumber (gourmet slicer) and season with salt. Also slice the onions and prepare the yogurt sauce.
  2. Put the yogurt in a deep bowl, add the mustard and garlic powder. Chop the dill tips and add to the yoghurt as well. Mix everything together. If the yogurt sauce is too firm, dilute with a little water (1-2 tablespoon) and pour over the cucumber and onion rings and mix.
  3. Now round off the cucumber salad with a tablespoon of olive oil and let it rest in the refrigerator.
  4. Before serving, season again to see if you need to season with salt or pepper.
  5. There is also homemade mashed potatoes with leftover ham cubes.
