Cut the meat into small pieces and fry in a saucepan with a little oil. Chop the carrot peeled or unpeeled and add to the pot. Peel the onion, cut into eighths and add it too. Let the meat juice boil off briefly, then add the beer, paprika powder, salt, pepper, garlic and tomato paste. Let it boil again as well. Now add the vegetable stock. Stir and cook with the lid on for an hour.
