Instructions

  1. Heat the butter and sweat the finely chopped shallot cubes in it. Add the sugar and let it start gently. Add the now washed carrot slices and the peeled, finely diced piece of ginger.
  2. Put everything in a closed saucepan and let it cook in its own juice. Season to taste with salt and then serve.
