- Peel the ginger and cut into slices as thin as possible, peel the oranges with a peeler and squeeze them. Measure out the orange juice.
- Mix the water with the orange juice, add the same amount of sugar and bring to the boil with the ginger and orange peel while stirring.
- Let simmer for about 15 minutes.
- Scoop out the ginger and orange peel and filter the syrup, e.g. through a sieve lined with a kitchen towel.
- Fill syrup into sterilized bottles.
- Makes about 2 liters of syrup.
