Instructions

  1. This is a very tasty recipe from my ex-mother-in-law, who unfortunately never really wanted to come out with it. The only thing I could steal from her was the ingredients. The quantities given can therefore vary depending on taste. Just try it out.
  2. Wash the cucumber, cut in half lengthways and remove the seeds with a teaspoon. Peel the onion, dice the cucumber and onion. Halve the Cabanossi lengthways and cut into slices.
  3. Heat the margarine and fry the sausage until brown. Add onions and sauté until soft. Add the cucumber and fry everything for a moment (approx. 5 min.) On a low flame.
  4. Mix the creme fraiche with the tomato paste and pour over the sausage and cucumber mixture. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Wash and chop the dill and add it as well. Simmer everything on a low flame for approx. 20 minutes.
  5. Boiled potatoes go well with it.
