Soak the gnocchi in a saucepan in hot, salted water until they float on top. Then remove from the pot with a slotted spoon and set aside.
Peel the onion and clove of garlic, then chop finely. Cut the chicken breast fillet into bite-sized cubes. Clean the mushrooms or clean them with kitchen paper.
Now melt the butter in a large pan and fry the gnocchi until crispy, then remove from the pan. Now sauté the chicken with onion and garlic. Just before the meat is done, the mushrooms and gnocchi come back into the pan and are briefly braised. Finally pour in the cream and season with salt and pepper.
You can also use grained vegetable broth or, if you like it very tasty, the 1A soup spice according to the recipe from mewalter.
