Gofio is the oldest known food in the Canary Islands. Even today you can buy it there in almost every market. It is a flour made from roasted cereal grains and available in different varieties. It is often made from corn, but also from barley and other seeds.
Put all ingredients in the order listed in the bread maker; Normal program, intensive tanning.
The finished bread tastes very hearty and hearty, it goes well with e.g., goat and sheep cheese, together with a Spanish red wine.
