- Cut the Gouda and the cucumber into thin strips of about the same length and mix together. Cut the onion into small cubes and spread over the top.
- Mix the cucumber liquid, oil, vinegar and spices into a marinade and drizzle over the salad. Chop the herbs and sprinkle over the salad.
- Let it steep and serve it at room temperature. Is very suitable for buffets, or simply serve with fresh bread with butter.
