Instructions

  1. Wash the meat and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder. Chop the onions and garlic into small pieces. Cut the peppers into small strips.
  2. Sear the onions and garlic in a saucepan, add tomato paste and mustard
  3. and keep stirring so that nothing burns. Then add the meat and sear it too
  4. Add the pepper strips. Dissolve the bouillon cube in 1 liter of water and add to the meat, finally add the whiskey, let everything stew for about 1.5 - 2 hours.
  5. For the filling of the dumplings, cut the bread roll or toast into cubes and toast in a pan.
  6. Form dumplings out of the dumpling dough, place a few bread cubes in the middle and seal everything tightly. Put the dumplings in boiling salted water, turn the stove down and let the dumplings simmer until they float on top, approx. 20 - 25 min.
