Put the flour in a large bowl and make a well. Mix the yeast and sugar with the cup of milk until the yeast has dissolved, then pour into the well and mix with some of the flour to make a pre-dough. Let rise in a warm place for at least 20 minutes.
In the meantime, wash and drain the raisins. Gently heat the milk, quark, butter, salt and sugar in a saucepan until the butter has liquefied. Allow to cool slightly.
Now we add the raisins to the pre-dough and stir them in. Then stir in the still lukewarm butter and quark mixture until a nice batter has formed.
Now fill the dough in a large baking pan and let rise for another 30 minutes. Bake at 180 ° C for approx. 75 minutes.
