Knead together the flour, sugar, butter / margarine in pieces, baking powder, vanilla sugar and eggs. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes in cling film.
Covering:
Peel the apples, place on a large plate, drizzle with lemon juice and dust with cinnamon powder. Then put the apples in the microwave for 3 minutes, until the apples are a little softer.
Whip the cream a little, add vanilla sugar and cream stiffener and whip until stiff. Stir in the quark. The mass should have a reasonably firm consistency.
Streusel:
Mix the flour, sugar and melted butter together until crumbs are formed.
Preheat the oven to 160 °.
Press the dough into a cake tin, place the apples in a circle and spread the cream curd mixture on top. Spread the sprinkles over it.
Bake the cake on the middle rack for about 60 minutes at 160 °.
Remove from oven and allow to cool.
My grandma used to serve the apple pie at every festival and it was always very popular with everyone.
