Instructions

  1. Wash, stone and quarter the plums. If the cake is made with other fruit, wash and prepare it as appropriate.
  2. Dough for base and crumble:
  3. Set aside about 150-200 g of the eggs and flour. Put the sugar, vanilla sugar, remaining flour and butter in a large bowl, mix with your hands and work into streusel.
  4. Knead about half of the crumble mixture for the base in a second bowl with the two eggs and the remaining flour to form a dough and roll it out for the base on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Prick the rolled out dough with a fork and then top it with the prepared fruit. After the topping, crumble the crumble dough over the fruit.
