Instructions

  1. The flavor of the pudding is freely selectable. So far I`ve tried it with chocolate or vanilla flavor.
  2. First, the pudding has to be cooked according to the instructions on the package. How many tablespoons of sugar to take varies depending on the variety. The finished pudding should then be strongly cooled in a water bath, and later in the freezer.
  3. Once the pudding has cooled down enough, whip the cream until stiff and fold it well into the pudding.
  4. If you have an ice cream machine, pour the cold cream pudding there and let the machine do the rest. With my Philips machine, this takes between 30 and 45 minutes.
  5. If you don`t have an ice cream maker, put the pudding in a tall container with a lid and put it in the freezer. To ensure that the ice is as loose as possible and not too hard, it has to be stirred frequently while it is freezing.
