Peel the apples and cut them into large pieces. Beat eggs and sugar into a thick, creamy mass. Gradually fold in the flour sifted with the baking powder. At the very end, knock in the oil quickly and vigorously and pour the thick mass into a greased springform pan. Distribute the apple pieces so that nothing of the dough can be seen. Sprinkle with vanilla sugar and bake the cake in the preheated oven at approx. 180 ° C for about 45 minutes.
The cake is ready when the dough tips that have slipped from between the apple pieces are golden brown. Drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Instead of apples, you can use any fruit, including canned fruits.
