Instructions

  1. Mix the minced meat with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, soaked bread roll, onion, marjoram, egg and rice, seasoning well.
  2. Caramelize the sugar in a roasting pan, then add the tomatoes, broth, tomato paste and onions. Let it boil and in the meantime fill the peppers. To do this, cut off a lid and remove the cores and inner walls.
  3. Place the peppers with the meat on top in the roasting pan with the sauce. If there is leftover mince, shape it into dumplings and add to the sauce. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 minutes, it always depends on the size of the peppers.
  4. If desired, thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch and season again to taste.
