Wash the rump steaks and pat dry. Heat the oil in a pan. Sear the steaks on each side for 3 minutes. Then season with salt and pepper and remove from the pan. Stir the contents of the frying cream packet into the roasting set. Then add the cream cheese. Stir until the cheese has melted. Season the sauce with salt and pepper. Place the steaks side by side in an ovenproof dish and top with the sliced tomatoes and Gouda cheese. Spread the cheese and cream sauce all around.
Bake the steaks in the oven at 200 degrees for approx. 10-13 minutes until golden brown.
