Instructions

  1. Wash oranges well. Cook oranges in a saucepan with hot water for about 20-30 minutes until they are soft and the peel is no longer bitter. Then quarter oranges and puree in a blender.
  2. Mix the remaining ingredients for the dough together in a mixing bowl and fold in the orange puree. Now stir everything well again. Spread the dough on a greased baking sheet and bake at 180 ° C for about 40-45 minutes.
  3. In the meantime, bring the water to the boil, mix with the sugar, cinnamon and cloves and let cool. At the end of the baking time, cut the cake into pieces and only then pour the cooled syrup over it.
