Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of rice with the water and some broth.
  2. For the tomato sauce, finely chop the onions and garlic. Cut the tomatoes into pieces. Fry the onions and garlic in olive oil, later add the tomato pieces and fry with them. Add the tomato paste, fry briefly and deglaze with the milk (use enough milk until the sauce has a nice consistency, not too runny, not too firm!). Season with paprika and gyros spices. Season to taste with salt and pepper. If you want the spicier version, add a few dashes of Tabasco and chilli pepper (dried or fresh).
  3. Fold the rice into the sauce.
