Peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
Melt the butter in a large saucepan and fry the ham cubes until crispy. Add the onion and let it become translucent. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and add the beans and potatoes.
Press the sausage meat out of the coarse sausages, form small to medium balls and add. Season to taste with the herbs and spices. Add the savory.
Simmer for about 15-20 minutes over low to medium heat, until the potatoes are cooked through. Stir gently over and over again.
