Instructions

  1. Fry the jerky meat and onions in hot oil for 3 minutes. Add the diced vegetables and potatoes and sweat for 5 minutes, stirring again and again so that nothing builds up. Dust with flour, stir again several times and then pour in the hot vegetable stock. Add the Cabanossi (Lyoner is used in Saarland) and cook for about 15-20 minutes until the vegetables are soft. Possibly add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste to bind. Round off the taste with pepper and parsley. Arrange on plates and serve hot.
  2. A large piece of plum cake made from yeast dough is served with it.
  3. The taste of cake and soup together is stunning.
