Instructions

  1. Clean the green beans and cut into pieces approx. 1 cm in size. Cook in salted water with soup greens (cleaned and chopped), smoked pork (bite-sized pieces) for about 1 hour. Cut 3 to 4 potatoes into small cubes and add about 1/2 hour before the end together with the stock cube and pepper.
  2. Dice 1 onion and fry until golden with the diced bacon. Add a teaspoon of flour, sweat and add to the boiling soup. Boil the savory briefly - preferably fresh.
  3. Tastes better after every warm-up!
  4. Tip: use Cabanossi, soup meat or bacon instead of Kassler.
