Bring the water with salt to a boil. Add beans (cut into 1 cm pieces) and peas and bring to the boil again. Put the lid on and simmer until the beans are soft. Choose the heat so that at the end of the cooking time there is still about 2-3 tablespoons of water in the pan, the rest should have evaporated (unfortunately I can`t give you precise details, as I`ve never cooked it on an electric stove, only on one Aga). Stir in the coriander greens, ginger and chilli and cook over high heat without a lid for 1 minute.
