Heat the margarine in a medium saucepan. Steam the onions in it until translucent over medium heat. Press in the garlic and sauté briefly, approx. 1 min. Then add the flour while stirring, sweat briefly, do not let it get dark! and then add the broth. Stir the sweat well. Let everything simmer for about 10 minutes over a mild heat. Then add the defrosted beans. Put a lid on and let the sauce simmer for another 10 minutes over a mild heat. Pour in the broth if the sauce is too thick. Turn off the stove. Add the dill and crème fraîche and season with salt or granulated broth.
Tip:
Kasselernacken and boiled potatoes also taste heavenly.
The beans are also a perfect accompaniment to roast lamb.
Or you can also fry bacon, but then do not add salt! and, along with potatoes, has a quick and delicious meal. Not exactly suitable as a diet recipe, however.
