Instructions

  1. Melt margarine and butter in a saucepan. Briefly fry the finely chopped (not pressed) cloves of garlic in it. Drain the beans and collect the bean water. Then fry the beans briefly in the pan and toss well. Season with salt, pepper and savory. Then add half of the bean water collected. Simmer for about 20 minutes over a medium heat. Serve hot.
