Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter or eighth of the potatoes and cook them covered with salted water until soft.
  2. Put the spinach in a porcelain bowl or other microwave-safe container, then defrost and heat with a little water in the microwave. Of course, you can also thaw and heat the spinach in a saucepan on a very low heat while stirring.
  3. Drain the cooked potatoes, collect some of the cooking water. Now mash the potatoes with the butter. Small pieces can still remain. Season with nutmeg. Add the spinach to the mashed potatoes. If the porridge is too firm, add some potato boiling water. Season to taste with pepper and possibly also salt.
  4. Goes with egg or fish dishes.
