Instructions

  1. Clean the lettuce, rinse, spin dry, remove the stalk from the lettuce, pluck the lettuce into small pieces and place in a bowl.
  2. Mix the lemon juice with a little water, the salt and the oil and pour over the salad. Now mix the salad vigorously with salad servers.
  3. Chop the rinsed herbs and pour over the salad, then sprinkle over the sugar and mix everything vigorously again, season to taste and, if necessary, season with lemon juice and salt and serve the salad soon so that it doesn`t get sticky.
  4. If you like, you can sprinkle sugar over the salad at the table (the sweeter the better, at least for me)
  5. This salad goes well with egg dishes, potato gratin and pan-fried meat or fish.
