Instructions

  1. Soak 6 wooden skewers in water for about 30 minutes.
  2. Mix the tequila, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon together well in a bowl.
  3. Cut the stalk off the top of the pineapple and then cut down the side walls while standing. Halve them, quarter them and cut the stalk out in the middle. Then cut into cubes about 2 cm wide. That works great if you halve the quarters that you have again.
  4. Now stick the cubes close together on the skewers, I always use 8-9 pieces.
  5. Stir the glaze well again and place the skewers on the hot grill. Preferably to the edge where it is not so hot and the grill surface should be cleaned. Now brush the skewers with the glaze, turning until all sides are covered with it. Leave on the grill, turn again and again until the glaze / pineapple has a golden brown color. Remove, remove from the skewers and serve on dessert plates while still warm. A scoop of vanilla ice cream tastes very good with it.
