Grilled Salmon Instructions

  1. Make the marinade: chop the onion, squeeze the juice from the half lemon, and combine with salt, pepper, and dill
  2. Place the salmon steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat
  5. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place on the grill grate, or wrap in foil if preferred
  6. Grill for 15 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature 63°C / 145°F)
  7. For a suggested side dish: cook rice, mix in canned corn, and sauté onions, then serve alongside the salmon
