Peel the avocado, remove the stone and mash the pulp with a fork. Mix with half a teaspoon of finely grated lime zest and two to three teaspoons of lime juice.
Finely dice the chilli pepper and onion. Wash and clean the strawberries and dice them a little coarser. Pluck the basil into small pieces. Mix everything into the avocado cream, season with salt, pepper and possibly very little agave syrup.
Garnish with strawberries and serve with taco chips or as a spread on baguette.
