Peel the potatoes and cook them in salted water for about 20 minutes. Then drain and mash with the milk and butter. Season with salt and nutmeg.
While the potatoes are cooking, fry the chopped onion in a pan until translucent, add ground beef and fry until crumbly, stirring constantly. Add the tomato paste and roast briefly. Add plenty of herbs and a dash of red wine. Season to taste with salt and paprika powder.
Put the ground beef in an oven dish greased with butter or margarine. Spread evenly with a spoon and then add the mashed potatoes on top. Smooth it out and sprinkle the cheese over it.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes. If possible, set to grill function for another 5 minutes.
