Sauté onion cubes in oil until translucent. Add shredded minced meat and fry. Season with salt, pepper and paprika (depending on taste, sweet or hot as rose). Add the pepper cubes. Salt a little so that they don`t lose their color and sweat. Add tomatoes and let cook a little. Add rice.
Depending on how much gravy has accumulated, add a little broth or tomato juice so that the rice can swell properly. Reduce heat to a low level. If necessary, season again when the rice is done and enjoy hot. Those in a hurry use a 10-minute rice, but the conventional one also works.
The recipe was handed down by my grandmother and thanks to the simple composition it can also be multiplied for a larger group.
