Preheat the oven to 220 ° C. Divide the halloumi in the middle and cut into slices.
Cut the red pepper into slices so that it can be layered vertically with the halloumi. Cut the mushrooms into slices.
Then layer everything alternately vertically in a small baking dish for one person (halloumi, mushrooms, peppers). Cut the garlic and distribute between them. Season everything with salt, pepper and oregano (on top). Pour olive oil over them.
Tip: Don`t buy grill cheese or grill halloumi or just sheep cheese instead of halloumi. You can do that, but it just doesn`t taste that good.
If you like, the dish can of course still be pimped in terms of spices or other ingredients (swap peppers for zucchini, etc.).
In general, mushrooms are good because they give off a little water and cook the dish well in the oven. It is best to eat straight out of the mold.
