Clean the vegetables. Slice the onions and fry them in a large pan with olive oil. Meanwhile, cut or slice the carrots into thin sticks and add to the onions in the pan.
Add the balsamic cream, salt, pepper and a small dash of water. If possible, cover the pan with a lid so that the vegetables soften faster. Cut the pepper into bite-sized squares and add to the pan.
Pack one cheese each (if you want to cook low carb, you shouldn`t choose the light version, as it contains carbohydrates) in a slice of ham. Make space in the pan for the ham parcels, making sure that only a little (or no) liquid covers the bottom of the pan.
If necessary, add a little more olive oil and fry the parcels on both sides until the cheese has melted. The vegetables taste almost better when they are warmed up.
