Instructions

  1. For the dumplings, squeeze out the soaked bread roll. Mix with the minced meat, egg, salt, pepper and the peeled, finely diced onion to form a meat batter. Let rest.
  2. For the sauce, heat the oil in the saucepan. Let the peeled, diced onion become translucent in it. Pour meat stock on top. Mix the flour with the condensed milk. Thicken the broth and stir in the applesauce. Season with salt, pepper, a pinch of sugar and curry. Simmer gently for 5 minutes.
  3. Separate the meat dough with a tablespoon of dumplings. Let slide into the sauce. Let it simmer for a good 20 minutes, but do not boil. Basmati rice tastes good with it.
