In a bowl, stir butter, sugar and eggs until foamy, then fold in the ground nuts, cocoa, flour with baking powder and grated apples. Put the whole thing in a box cake tin in the oven preheated to 170 degrees. The baking time is approx. 60 minutes (make a baking test with a wooden stick).
After baking, leave the cake in the mold for another 5-10 minutes, then remove it from the mold and leave to cool on a wire rack.
This apple cake is wonderfully juicy and tastes great, especially with a whipped cream!
