Instructions

  1. Mix the egg with the brown sugar and the bourbon vanilla sugar until frothy. Add the cream and milk and stir well. Now mix in the hazelnut butter. Keep the ice cream in a cool place until you are ready to use it; the colder it is later during production, the better. Prepare the ice cream mass in the ice cream maker according to the instructions. Just before the ice cream is ready, add the chopped hazelnuts.
  2. Makes about 500 ml of ice cream, i.e. two nice servings.
  3. For the hazelnut butter, buy shelled hazelnuts, roast them in the oven, remove the shell and use the chopper to make puree. Roasting is important; this is the only way to develop that intense nutty taste.
