Instructions

  1. Mix the eggs with the applesauce, low-fat quark and wholemeal flour. Crush the oat flakes with the hand blender and stir in. Add the baking powder and the desired spices as well as the sweetener (amount according to taste). If you like, you can now fold in the raisins and finally add the chopped, peeled apples.
  2. Line a loaf pan (28 x 11 cm) with baking paper and fill in the dough. Bake for approx. 40 - 45 minutes at 160 ° C (hot air, preheated). Use the stick sample to test whether the dough is baked through.
  3. Of course it doesn`t taste like a “real” apple pie, but with this recipe you don`t have to worry about 1 kg more if you have eaten too much of it. It is also very juicy.
  4. The whole bread has 1680 kcal without raisins and weighs 1200 g.
