Instructions

  1. Put the berries in a small saucepan, add the juice or liqueur and powdered sugar and simmer for a few minutes while stirring. Season with more powdered sugar in between (you can also experiment with cinnamon, vanilla or other spices). When the berries are soft, remove the pan and keep warm.
  2. Then the apple is peeled, the core removed and the apple cut in half. Lay the cut surface down and cut even slices about the thickness of french fries. Then turn around and cut the same thickness again, so that you get sticks that look like french fries.
  3. These pens are decorated on a plate so that the plate can still be seen in the middle. Then there are the berries with sauce on top and the ice cream scoop in the middle. Even the kids love that!
  4. You can also freeze the fruit sauce so you can quickly reheat it in the microwave. It`s even faster that way.
