Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix with the hand mixer first on the lowest setting, then on the highest. Possibly add a little more milk so that the dough is quite thin. If the dough bubbles, then enough has been stirred.
Using a ladle, pour the batter onto a greased waffle iron in portions and bake.
One serving makes approx. 10 - 12 waffles.
If you want to leave out the baking powder, you can replace a small part of the milk with sparkling mineral water.
The waffles go very well with a green salad or you can eat them for breakfast or as a snack in between. They can also be frozen and e.g., warm over a toaster.
