Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken, pat dry and dice. Peel the onions and garlic, clean, wash and chop all the vegetables (if you like, you can core the tomatoes beforehand). Dice the ham and cut the Cabanossi into slices.
  2. Fry the meat in hot oil, gradually add the ham cubes, sausage slices, onions, garlic, paprika and celery and fry briefly. Add the tomatoes and deglaze with the poultry stock and the tomato sauce (add a little more water if necessary). Season with salt (caution, ham and Cabanossi are already salty, you might want to add more salt), pepper, cayenne pepper and thyme. Bring to the boil and simmer covered for about 15 minutes.
  3. Cut the spring onions into rings, chop the lovage and add to the stew shortly before the end.
  4. This dish is also suitable as a midnight soup at celebrations or parties.
  5. SiS - suitable for dinner (take daily fat into account), baguette or rice is enough for lunch.
