Heat the oil in a large saucepan, fry the minced meat, add the onion very finely, and stew until translucent. Deglaze with the wine. Add the garlic and mushrooms and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in the pepperoni, celery and carrots and simmer for 5 minutes. Add the canned tomatoes, season with chilli and salt and cook on a low heat for approx. 25 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked through.
Add the kidney-shaped beans and corn and cook for another 5 minutes without the lid.
Season again to taste and possibly add more chilli. It must taste like chilli !! Pour into soup plates and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
