Instructions

  1. The recipe makes 2 cakes for forms with a diameter of 28 cm. If you only want to make one, cut all the ingredients in half.
  2. Put the flour in a bowl, make a well and crumble the yeast with half a teaspoon of sugar and cover with lukewarm water. Let rise for 1/2 hour.
  3. Then add the butter in small pieces, egg and salt, add the lukewarm milk (not too hot !!!) and knead a nice, smooth dough. Place in a warm place and cover and let rest for 2 hours.
  4. In the meantime, fry the onions, finely cut into strips, and the thinly sliced leek in the margarine until soft.
  5. Let the onion and leek mixture cool down and then stir in the remaining ingredients (yogurt, crème fraîche, eggs, flour, spices), except for the ham.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C fan-assisted air.
  7. Divide the dough in half and roll out 3 - 4 mm thick. Place one half of the dough in a 28 cm half-height cake tin, the edge of the dough approx. 3 cm high. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and put half of the leek and onion mixture on top. Sprinkle with diced ham and bake for 20-25 minutes on the second lowest rack at 200 °.
  8. Repeat again.
