When all the ingredients are prepared, layer everything in a large saucepan as follows:
1. the potatoes or carrots
2. the onions
3. the sliced beef ends
then the vegetable stock is poured over it and the butter flakes are spread over it. With the lid closed, simmer on a low level and only stir shortly before the end of the cooking time and season with the sour cream or cream, if necessary also season with pepper, the whole thing is salty enough through the meatballs!
Tip: If you want to try the whole thing with carrots, you should cut 4-5 potatoes into small pieces because of the creaminess and cook them too!
