Peel and halve the smallest possible potatoes. Cook in salted water for about 10 minutes, then drain. Peel and quarter the onions.
Heat the oil in a very large pan, fry the onion quarters and the boiled potatoes in it. Add the minced meat and fry as well. Season with thyme, salt and pepper. Now add the 200 ml of water and bring to the boil, then simmer for about 5-7 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of ajvar and finish with 2 tablespoons of crème fraiche.
